 Reporting to a VP, Cheryl will be introducing and integrating a new IT system for production planning and control, mapping the current state and documenting "to be" state for aircraft repair and overhaul. Shell also be rewriting maintenance instructions and developing maintenance programs for IAW FAA regulations. She sees opportunity:

 This is an excellent opportunity to return to an operational role. As this is a commercial FAR 145 maintenance facility, I will learn new skills. Compensation is above the norm for the area. My major obstacle was lack of commercial aircraft repair experience. The company decided that prior military experience and extensive leadership and management experience in a military aircraft repair role off-set this gap.
